Minutes 

August 1, 2024

COMMISSIONERS PRESENT - John Brauer, Shashi Palamand, Mark Farley, Barbara Moore

Guest Present – Cherri Elder, Shannon Wolf, Janet Maevers, Emily Thenhaus, Shirley DeMay, John Klynot, Louise Marler.

1. Call to Order

2. Approval of June 6, 2024 Minutes. The Minutes have been approved and will be on www.cherokeerow website.

3. Treasury Report – John – We did not have a meeting in July, so the Treasury Report is for June & July, 2024. The beginning balance was $18,275. We paid Travelers Insurance $772, St. Louis Directories $247, CTM $360, Travelers Insurance $5, Elders (flowers) $50, CTM $360, Where Magazine $375, Ray Simon (flowers) $50, Retro 1010 (flowers) $50, Nelson (flowers) $50, Google ad $139, St. Louis Web Designs $150, Lemp Mansion beer & brats for statue event $1,000, leaving a balance of $14,511.

4. Travelers Insurance – Shashi – We have General and D&O Insurance. Shashi is getting renewal dates to align for easier payments. Workers’ Compensation has been cancelled.

5. Website Update – Mark – the website traffic has been down slightly. The website has the Minutes, meeting dates and events listed. The Lemp Mansion BarBooQue Blues and Booze Patio Party is Saturday, August 17th.

6. Neighborhood Directories – Mark – We have an ad in the Cherokee Street Neighborhood Directory.

7. Bi-Monthly Meetings Approval & Schedule – Shashi – We have decided not to have meetings in January & July due to the holidays. John made a motion for the Expansion Church to use the lot on Sunday, August 18. All in favor and the motion passed.

8. 2018 Cookie Spree – The committee asked for payment on a $645 Christmas tree. Mark made a motion to pay for the tree, all in favor and the motion passed. In the future, we need to have receipts for purchases. We should get cancelled checks from the bank.

9. Adjournment.
