1. Call to Order

2. Approval of May 4, 2023 minutes – Approved

​

3. Treasury Report – The beginning balance in May was $16,493. We had an income from the parking lot of $1,800.  We paid UPS $12.80, Travelers Insurance $1,040, Flowers $100, Goodman Band $200, leaving a balance of $16,941. Global Insurance has not cashed their check for $797. There is an outstanding check from Cherokee Antique Row Merchants Association that needs to be deposited in the Cherokee-Lemp account.

4. Community Directory – We will begin advertising in University City, Brentwood, Ladue, CWE and Clayton.  Mark will call Tammy to get an invoice.

​

5. Brochures – are available at 1947 Cherokee Street.

​

6. Parking Lot – We will be updating the contract for renting the parking lot. The new contract will need to be approved by the Board.

​

7. Music on Cherokee – We will have music every other week. Mark will put a list of the musicians on the Website. John will use the Cherokee banner for location.

​

8. Webpage – WIX allows for the transfer of ownership to the Special Business District. We will add an email for the Special Business District. Marks wants to go through the list of domains, decide what to keep. There hasn’t been any downtime, uptake on visitors may be from the new brochure having the correct web address. When you want your event information on the website, you need to have the time, date, artwork, and contact information. Other neighborhood groups can be included on our website. We should keep the link on the website for Board Vacancies.

9. Bourbon Festival – will be August 23rd.

​

10. Emily Thenhaus – the beer tasting festival is August 19th.

              

11. Meeting to remove ramp at Cherokee Street for Southbound I-55 on May 2, 2023 – A letter was written that Cherokee-Lemp is in full support of the closure of the ramp.
